Brand reneka

1919 to 1931 RENEKA 1919 to 1931
Between 1919 and 1931, trading under two brand names that have now disappeared, (Manachau and Galvanisation Moderne), the company specialised in chromium plating in two emerging sectors :
- Orthopaedic equipment
- Parts for the automobile industry.
For the record, the BUGATTI company was established at Molsheim in Alsace, France (a town located 30 km from Strasbourg).

1927 RENEKA

1927
Working on the basis of their know-how, the company began to produce silverware under the brand name RENEKA (a contracted form of its founder's name, RENE KAuss) in 1927.

1932 RENEKA 1932
Since 1932, RENEKA has completed its "catering" services by manufacturing and distributing a completely chrome-plated wall-fitting coffee machine, based on the use of a percolator (steam is used to obtain the pressure placed on the coffee).

1946 RENEKA

1946
Interrupted in 1939, the company's activities began again in 1946, with the aim of operating on the entire French market.

The means to this end was the creation of a small bar machine called the "MAJOR." Progressively, the range became more complete, based on "Piston Type" (with lever) technology.

1950 RENEKA 1950
The espresso has taken the French market by storm since 1950. This is due to 2 key factors :
- The production of customised coffee, i.e. made especially for the person who asks for it,
- The selective extraction of the coffee's aromatic oils through mechanical pressure.

1958 RENEKA 1958
RENEKA's first espresso machine was marketed with what was, for its time, a very promising and meaningful title: the "EUROPEAN." THE EUROPEAN series featured 4 models, ranging from 1 to 4 groups, and used the hydraulic piston technique to simple effect. The same technique was used until 1984.

1970 RENEKA 1970
The first completely automatic machine, "HYDRAUTO," was launched, with a highly significant distinguishing feature: a conveyor that positioned the cups below the coffee spout, without requiring any manual intervention.

1976 RENEKA 1976
RENEKA launched the "GAVD," a fully automatic electronic machine that replaced the "HYDRAUTO," and hot on its heels, the company presented the first fully electronically-controlled traditional machine: the "DV." Innovation is a permanent feature at RENEKA, due to research into simple and effective principles, guaranteeing a high quality cup of coffee and easy maintenance.

1986 RENEKA 1986
The launch of the legendary traditional "PLUS" machine, which was associated to a complementary and equally emblematic machine: the "BASIC." The "PLUS" range established the basis for RENEKA's thermo-regulated injection system, as well as introducing the concept of a choice of colours (red and blue), with a body with an enamel finish. An exclusive RENEKA product, it still available today as part of the "PLUS PRESTIGE SERIES" range.

1996 RENEKA 1996
The launch of the "VIVA" series: RENEKA introduced elegant, modern machines, featuring an optimised thermo-regulated injection system to guarantee constant quality in coffee extraction. The pump and pressure switch settings are directly accessible, making it easier to carry out preventative maintenance operations. A variety of colours are available, allowing the machines to blend in perfectly with their surroundings.

1996 RENEKA 1997
May 1997, creation of RENEKA INTERNATIONAL.

1996 RENEKA 2004
Launching of the VIVA S
The VIVA S range has been designed around three main concepts:
Optimising the maintenance operations within a context of minimal expense.
Optimising electronically controlled back-up to enhance the success of our first objective.
Permitting a wide-ranging colour scheme.
