No steam at the steam outlet.

Description :

When I open the steam tap, nothing comes out of the nozzle.


Solution :

1- The nozzle at the end of the spout is blocked. Unblock it, using a small pin. This fault is due to milk clogging the nozzle.
2- GTV valve is defective.
3- The steam tap is defective (pin, gasket)


Advice :

To avoid such problems, clean and drain the steam nozzle after each use, following the procedures described in "Espresso machine maintenance".
