The coffee is too hot.
Description :
Every espresso coffee that I make is too hot.
Solution :
1- The cups are too hot.
2- The boiler pressure is higher than 0.8 bar.
3- The ground coffee is too fine.
4- The machine is covered by serviettes.
5- The space in which the machine is positioned is to narrow (insufficient air circulation).
6- The boiler pressure is higher than 0.8 bar (older model) or higher than 1.2 bar (new model with GID).
Advice :
The cups are always stored on top of the machine, without being covered by serviettes.
While the coffee is being served, the filter holders are always locked onto the brewheads, free from used coffee .
The boiler pressure have to be located between 0.6 and 0.8 bar (older model) or between 1.1 and 1.2 bar (new model with GID).
0.03 bar should be added for every 250 m of altitude.
